Chocolate Memory

Like a delicious after taste. You already had the smooth creamy velvety chocolate. It's gone.  Now licking your lips may bring back some faint memories; but the memory never equates the reality of what it was.
So is some of the experiences in life. At the time they were sweet, desired, happy, wanted. But the experience was time-bound despite your ignorance.
Now, all remained from it is the memories. Some make you smile. Some make you sigh. Some make you shiver.
There is no such thing as everlasting chocolate.

Yeah. I feel it is unfair sometimes. But yet I think when life is the opponent, nothing can be proven fair or unfair. There is only expectations.

Just back from a weekend away and catching up on reading. I think you sometimes can get a piece of chocolate that is not as good as you expected but you have to realize that it just a flavor. However chocolate is always pure, sweet, creamy, satisfying in the purest sense. Dont you think?

Whatever chocolate is, it is not everlasting I think. It is something to cherish at the moment and be mindful of the joy of the moment, cause the next day there may simply be no chocolate. No joy. So better cherish the moments, and better not to take things as granted.
Now purity is found only very scarcely. Hard to expect it all the time.
